Mike Amor is a multi-award winning Australian journalist and news presenter. He is currently the weekend presenter of '' Seven News Melbourne'' with Karina Carvalho and presents ''Seven Afternoon News'' in Melbourne. Previously, he was the network's US Bureau Chief for almost two decades based in Los Angeles and was on the ground in New York City on the day of 9/11. Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that can lead to damage of the optic nerve. The optic nerve transmits visual information from the eye to the brain. Peter Mitchell (born 14 June 1960) is an Australian television presenter. He has been the chief news presenter of '' Seven News Melbourne'' since 2000, prior to which he was the weekend news presenter. Career Mitchell began at the Nine Network in 1977 as a sport reporter. In this position he covered sports such as Australian rules football, golf, tennis and the Commonwealth Games. In 1982, Mitchell became a general news reporter and in this position he covered many stories including Victoria's Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983.
