Miika Takkula
Miika Takkula (born 17 April 1983) is a Finnish sporting director and former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently serving as the sporting director of Veikkausliiga club Ilves. Playing career During his playing career, Takkula played in Finland for his hometown clubs Tervarit and AC Oulu in Ykkönen and in Kakkonen. He had also loan stints with Kajaanin Haka, VG-62, Oulun Luistinseura and Oulun Palloseura. He ended his playing career after the 2007 season due to injuries. Career After his retirement as a player, Takkula started to work in HJK Helsinki organisation in 2008. He started in an after-school day care arranged by the club. He worked with youth teams, as a youth coach and as an academy coach, and additionally in other positions in the club. In 2013, he was named the coaching director of the club's youth sector. Kiiminki ( sv, Kiminge) was a municipality of Finland. Along with Haukipudas, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii municipalities it was merged with the city of Oulu on 1 January 2013. Hannu Takkula
Hannu Aapa Takkula (born 20 November 1963) is a Finnish politician and former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Finland. He is a member of the Centre Party, part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. Early life Takkula was raised in a Laestadianism family, which is a revivalist group within the Lutheran church. At the age of 15, his family was excommunicated because he played sports, and was allowed to watch television at school by his father who was the headmaster. Takkula and his siblings were also studying classical music, which is forbidden by Laestadianism. Disappointed he started a rock 'n' roll band. His parents became very worried and scared in the changes in their son. So his father researched schools for Takkula and chose a Seventh-day Adventist school in Toivonlinna.
