Nikola Mikhov
Nikola Mihaylov Mihov ( bg, Никола Михайлов Михов, 11 December 1891 – 1 February 1945) was a Bulgarian lieutenant general of artillery who served as one of the three Regents of Bulgaria for the underage Simeon II (1943–44). Graduated from the Sofia Military School in 1911. Commanded an artillery battery during the Balkan Wars, took part in the siege of Odrin. From April 1915 he was an assistant of the artillery inspector at the Military School. During World War I, Mihov commanded a battery in the 15th Artillery Regiment and took part in the capture of the Tutrakan fortress, defended by Romanian troops. Ilian Mihov
Ilian Mihov (born 1966, Samokov, Bulgaria) ( bg, Илиян Михов) is a Bulgarian economist and the Dean and the Rausing Chaired Professor of Economic and Business Transformation at INSEAD. Early life Mihov was born in 1966 in Samokov, Bulgaria. He graduated from the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business and he earned a PhD in economics from Princeton University, where his thesis supervisor was Ben Bernanke. He joined INSEAD in 1996 and has served as its Dean INSEAD as of 2013. Career Mihov has published research in macroeconomic questions, especially regarding monetary policy, fiscal policy, and economic growth. He is a fellow of the Center for Economic Policy Research. Valentin Mihov ( bg, Валентин Михов) (born on 18 January 1954 in Sofia) is a former Bulgarian football player. He is a former president of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) and the Bulgarian Professional Football League (PFL). Biography Valentin Mihov earned a degree in International Economic Relations at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Then he worked at the Ministry of Transport and Korekom. He was awarded the title Honorary Citizen of the town of Svishtov in 2004. Football career Playing career As a child Mihov played in CSKA Sofia's junior teams. Paskoje Miličević Mihov
Paskoje Miličević Mihov (around 1440 – 1516) was a Croatian local builder. With the Andrijić brothers, he was active in drawing plans for the urban development of the Republic of Ragusa (today Dubrovnik) in the midst of the turbulent 15th- and 16th-century. While Michelozzo and Juraj Dalmatinac worked on the fortifications of the Walls of Dubrovnik and Walls of Ston and on sea walls in the Dubrovnik harbours, Miličević was designing plans of the Dubrovnik Dominican Monastery and a mint in Dubrovnik. At the Gate of Pile in Dubrovnik, on the western side of the land walls, there is a stone bridge between two Gothic arches, which were designed by the architect Paskoje Miličević in 1471. He also designed the two bridges to the Revelin Fortress in the 15th century, which explains the similarities between the bridges.
