Mihajlo Ristovski ( mk, Михајло Ристовски; born March 3, 1983) is a former Macedonian swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. He represented the Republic of Macedonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, placing among the top 60 swimmers in the 200 m freestyle. Ristovski was invited by FINA through the Universality rule to compete as a lone male swimmer for Macedonia in the men's 200 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Freestyle Swimming
Freestyle is a category of Swimming (sport), swimming competition, defined by the rules of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), in which competitors are subject to a few limited restrictions on their swimming stroke. Freestyle races are the most common of all swimming competitions, with distances beginning with 50 meters (50 yards) and reaching 1500 meters (1650 yards), also known as the mile.
