Mihail Șleahtițchi (born March 17, 1956 in Tîrnova, Dondușeni District, MSSR) is a pedagogue, psychologist, university professor and politician from the Republic of Moldova. Marian Lupu
Marian Lupu (; born 20 June 1966) is a Moldovan politician who was the President of the Parliament of Moldova between 2010 and 2013. From this position he served as Acting President of the Republic from 2010 until 2012. Personal life Marian Lupu was born on 20 June 1966 in Bălţi. When Marian was six, the family moved to Chişinău. His father, Ilie Lupu (b. 1938), was a mathematics professor at the Moldova State University. His mother taught French language at the Nicolae Testemiţanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He had been a member of Komsomol from 1980 until 1988 and a Member of Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1988 to 1991. Until 1983, Lupu studied at "Gheorghe Asachi" High School of Chişinău. Leonid Bujor
Leonid Bujor (27 November 1955 – 6 January 2021) was a Moldovan politician. He was the Minister of Education in the First Vlad Filat Cabinet from 25 September 2009 to 14 January 2011. Biography Leonid Bujor was born on 27 November 1955, in Singureni, Rîşcani. He was a member of the Party Alliance Our Moldova. He was deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in the Legislature 2005–2009, elected on the lists of the Democratic Moldova Democratic Bloc Party. Maia Sandu
Maia Sandu (; born 24 May 1972) is a Moldovan politician who has been the President of Moldova since 24 December 2020. She is the former leader of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) and former Prime Minister of Moldova from 8 June 2019 until 14 November 2019. On 12 November 2019, Sandu's government collapsed after a vote of no-confidence, with 63 (deputies from PSRM and PDM) of the 101 MPs having voted on the motion submitted by the PSRM. Sandu was Minister of Education from 2012 to 2015 and member of the Parliament of Moldova from 2014 to 2015, and again in 2019. She was selected as the joint candidate of the pro-European PPDA and PAS parties for president of Moldova in the 2016 election. However, she was defeated in the subsequent runoff by the pro-Russian PSRM candidate, Igor Dodon, losing the popular vote by a margin of 48% to 52%.
