Mihael Zmajlović
Mihael Zmajlović (born 19 January 1978) is a Croatian economist and politician who served as a minister at Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nature at the Cabinet of Zoran Milanović from 2012 until 2016, had previously served as mayor of Jastrebarsko from 2009 until 2012. He is a member of the centre-left Social Democratic Party of Croatia. Education Zmajlović finished elementary school "Ljubo Babić" in Jastrebarsko and 15th Gymnasium in Zagreb. He graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics where he also gained his PhD in year 2008. Since 2010, Zmajlović is a member of the Presidium of the Association of Croatian cities and chairman of the local action group "Jana". Zagreb County
Zagreb County () is a county in Northern Croatia. It surrounds, but does not contain, the nation's capital Zagreb, which is a separate territorial unit. Kukuriku Coalition
Rivers of Justice () is a centre-left political alliance in Croatia. Gathered around the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP), the coalition was originally formed in 2010 as the Kukuriku coalition (). 2009 Croatian Local Elections
Local elections were held in Croatia on 17 May 2009, with the second round held on 31 May where necessary. The elections elected a total of 866 members of county assemblies and 51 members of the City Assembly of the City of Zagreb, as well as 2,206 members of city councils and 5,343 municipal councils.
