Miguel Acosta Mateos (born 16 March 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Polish club Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Early life Born in Madrid, Spain, Acosta joined the Atlético Madrid academy in 2010, where he remained until 2017. Club career On 29 January 2017, he made his senior debut with Atlético Madrid B in the Tercera División against Unión Adarve. In July 2017, Acosta signed with fellow Tercera División side Getafe B. In August 2020, Acosta signed with Atlético Baleares in the Segunda División B. After one season, he departed the club. In May 2021, Acosta signed with Canadian Premier League side Atlético Ottawa. He led the league in minutes played in 2021, with 2,430, playing the full 90 in every match, except for one match in which he was suspended due to yellow card accumulation. 2022 Canadian Premier League Season
The 2022 Canadian Premier League season is the fourth season of the Canadian Premier League, the top level of Canadian soccer. Pacific FC are the defending champions, having beaten Forge FC in the 2021 final. The regular season ran from April 7 to October 9, 2022. 2023–24 Segunda Federación
The 2023–24 Segunda Federación season will be the third for the Segunda Federación, the fourth-highest level in the Spanish football league system. Ninety teams will participate, divided into five groups of eighteen clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Primera Federación, and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs. 2020–21 Segunda División B
The 2020–21 Segunda División B season was the 44th since its establishment and the last as the third tier. A total of 102 teams participated, and were distributed in three groups of 20 teams each and two groups of 21, with eight subgroups of ten teams each and two with eleven teams each. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the expansion of the league to what were initially five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season due to promotion from the Tercera División groups in the curtailed past season being applied. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.
