Mighty Joe Plum
Mighty Joe Plum was an American alternative rock band active in the late 1990s. They are best known for their US radio hit, "Live Through This (Fifteen Stories)". History Mighty Joe Plum formed in Tampa, Florida in the mid-1990s. In their early career, they played in two Battle of the Bands competitions, the second of which they won. After developing a solid fan base in Central Florida, they recorded the "Aardvark" EP and toured in support of it. During this time radio stations picked up the song "Live Through This (Fifteen Stories)" . The band signed to Atlantic Records in 1996 and released an album, ''The Happiest Dogs''. The single "Live Through This" climbed to No. 6 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Post-grunge
Post-grunge is a derivative of grunge that has a less abrasive or intense tone than traditional grunge. Originally, the term was used almost pejoratively to label mid-1990s rock bands such as Bush, Candlebox and Collective Soul that emulated the original sound of grunge. In the late 1990s, post-grunge morphed into a more clearly defined style that married the sound and aesthetic of grunge with a less intense and abrasive tone, rising to prominence that lasted in the 2000s. Foo Fighters are an American Rock music, rock band formed in Seattle in 1994. Foo Fighters was initially formed as a one-man project by former Nirvana (band), Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Following the success of the Foo Fighters (album), eponymous debut album, Grohl (lead vocals, guitar) recruited a band consisting of Nate Mendel (bass guitar), William Goldsmith (drums), and Pat Smear (guitar). Creed (band)
Creed was an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, formed in 1994. For most of its existence, the band consisted of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed released two studio albums, '' My Own Prison'' in 1997 and ''Human Clay'' in 1999, before Marshall left the band in 2000. The band's third album, '' Weathered'', was released in 2001, with Tremonti on bass guitar. Toad The Wet Sprocket
Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1986. The band at the time consisted of vocalist/guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss, who stopped touring in 2017 and left the band in 2020. Guss was replaced by drummer Josh Daubin, who had been supporting them as their drummer on recent tours. Seven Mary Three (occasionally abbreviated to 7 Mary 3 or 7M3) was an American rock band. They released seven studio albums and one live album, and are best known for their hit single (music), single "Cumbersome".
