Midlakes United is an American soccer club based in Bellevue, Washington, in the Seattle metropolitan area. They began play in the 2024 season. The team plays in the Northwest Division of USL League Two, a semi-professional national league. History Midlakes United was founded in 2023 by owner and general manager Treencee Russell. Former USWNT player Justi Baumgardt is the team's first head coach; former Seattle Sounders FC player Jhon Kennedy Hurtado was named an assistant coach in December 2023. USL League Two
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ventura County Fusion are the current champions, having defeated Long Island Rough Riders 2–1 in the 2022 USL League Two Championship game on August 6, 2022. KNKX (88.5 MHz) is a public radio station licensed to Tacoma, Washington, United States. A member of National Public Radio (NPR), it airs a jazz and news format for the Seattle metropolitan area. The station is owned by Pacific Public Media, a community-based non-profit organization. It operates from studios in downtown Seattle and downtown Tacoma. KNKX broadcasts from West Tiger Mountain in the Issaquah Alps with a power of 68,000 watts. Seattle Sounders Football Club is an American professional men's soccer club based in Seattle. The Sounders compete as a member of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer (MLS). The club was established on November 13, 2007, and began play in 2009 as an MLS expansion team. The Sounders are a phoenix club, carrying the same name as the original Sounders franchise that competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1974 to 1983. Jhon Kennedy Hurtado Valencia (born May 16, 1984) is a Colombian footballer who last played for Chivas USA in Major League Soccer. Career Professional Hurtado began his career in the youth ranks of Deportivo Cali. In 2004, he began his professional career with Unión Magdalena, and since went on to appear in 121 matches at the first and second division levels in Colombia. Lane United FC
Lane United FC is an American soccer club based in Eugene, Oregon. Founded in 2013, the team currently plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. History 2013 Lane United was admitted into the USL Premier Development League on July 18, 2013. To raise local interest in the club, a team was quickly assembled for two friendlies during the late summer of 2013. The first match, held at South Eugene High School on July 18 saw the Reds lose to the Portland Timbers U23s, 0–3.
