Mid-Am Racing Series
The Mid-Am Racing Series, formerly Mid American Stock Car Series,is a premier regional stock car racing series based in the Midwestern United States. Founded in 1993, the series has grown into a premier grassroots racing platform, showcasing competitive events on paved short tracks, dirt ovals, and road courses across states such as Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. The Mid-Am Racing Series is considered the highest level of competition available to sportsman-style stock cars built on GM metric chassis, yet it remains an affordable, entry-level opportunity for both aspiring drivers and seasoned veterans. American Speed Association
The American Speed Association (ASA) is a sanctioning body of motorsports in the United States formed in 1968. The Association was based in Pendleton, Indiana, Pendleton, Indiana, and later in Daytona Beach, Florida. The ASA sanctioned asphalt and dirt tracks in their ASA Member Track program along with racing series in the United States and Canada. The ASA currently sanctions the STARS National Tour, the ASA Midwest Tour, Midwest Tour, the Southern Super Series and all CRA Super Series, CRA sanctioned series. The ASA was most famous for a national touring series which began in 1973 but was discontinued in 2004 due to financial difficulties. In 2005, ASA became primarily a short track sanctioning clearinghouse under the leadership of Dennis Huth. Camping World Truck Series
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock cars. The series is one of three national divisions of NASCAR, ranking as the third tier behind the second-tier NASCAR Xfinity Series and the top level NASCAR Cup Series and is also the youngest NASCAR-sanctioned national racing competition to date. The 2023 season was the first with Stanley Black & Decker holding the series' naming rights. Paige Decker
Paige Decker (born March 20, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver from Eagle River, Wisconsin. She has raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Xfinity Series and was a 2014 NASCAR Drive for Diversity participant. Racing career Decker started her racing career in snowmobiles as a 3-year-old. When Natalie was 9 years old, Chuck bought her a kart and he bought one for Paige too. Brett Sontag (born October 29, 1970) is an American professional stock car driver from Joliet, Illinois. He currently drives the #5 Chevrolet Impala at various midwest racetracks including the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois, the Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Indiana and at select CRA Super Series, ASA Late Model Series, and ASA Midwest Tour events.
