Microsoft Forefront is a discontinued family of line of business, line-of-business security software by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft Forefront products are designed to help protect computer networks, Server (computing), network servers (such as Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server) and Client (computing), individual devices. DirectAccess
DirectAccess, also known as Unified Remote Access, is a VPN technology that provides intranet connectivity to client computers when they are connected to the Internet. Unlike many traditional VPN connections, which must be initiated and terminated by explicit user action, DirectAccess connections are designed to connect automatically as soon as the computer connects to the Internet.
