Mickey O'Sullivan
Mickey "Ned" O'Sullivan (born 14 April 1952) is an Irish former Gaelic football manager, selector and former player. His league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned ten seasons from 1971 to 1980. Born in Kenmare, County Kerry, O'Sullivan was educated at Coláiste Íosagáin in Ballyvourney where he played Gaelic football. He later played with University College Dublin during his studies there. By this stage O'Sullivan had also joined the Kenmare club team, with whom he won three county intermediate championship medals. He also lined out with the Kenmare District divisional side, and won two county senior championship medals. O'Sullivan made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he was selected for the Kerry minor team. He enjoyed one championship season with the minor team, however, he was an All-Ireland runner-up in 1970. Kenmare GAA
Kenmare Shamrocks GAA ( Irish: ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Kenmare in County Kerry. The club plays both Gaelic Football and Hurling and is affiliated with Kenmare District. The football first team competes in the Kerry Senior Football Championship (tier 1) and the hurlers first team competes in the Kerry Intermediate Hurling Championship. (tier 2). Football is the more dominant sport in the club and their first team compete in the Kerry Senior Football Championship, the highest level of gaelic football in Kerry. Until the club gained senior status in 2017, players in the club competed in a joint divisional side with other clubs from the Kenmare District like Templenoe. The Munster Senior Football Championship, known simply as the Munster Championship and shortened to Munster SFC, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The Munster Minor Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Munster in Ireland.
