The Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Cork GAA is one of the 32 County board (Gaelic games), county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Cork and the Cork county teams. It is one of the constituent counties of Munster GAA. Cork is one of the few Dual county, dual counties in Ireland, competing in a similar level in both Gaelic football, football and hurling. However, despite both teams competing at the top level of the game for most of the county's history, the Cork county hurling team, county hurling team has experienced more success, winning the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship on thirty occasions. The Cork county football team represents Cork in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Cork GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League. Cork's home ground is Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork. The current manager is John Cleary. Cork was the third Munster county both to win an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC), as well as to appear in the final, following Limerick and Tipperary. The Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Dublin GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Dublin and the Dublin county teams. The teams and their fans are known as "The Dubs" or "Boys in Blue". The fans have a special affiliation with the Hill 16 end of Croke Park. The county football team is second to Kerry in its total number of wins of All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Club Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Club Championship, is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county club hurling competition in Ireland, and has been contested every year since the 1970–71 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, 1970–71 championship (except for 2020-21, due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The final, currently held on the third Sunday in January, is the culmination of a series of games played between October and February with the winners receiving the Tommy Moore Cup. Blackrock National Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club located on the southside of Cork (city), Cork City, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Fermoy GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association based in the town of Fermoy, Cork, Ireland. The club fields teams in competitions organized by the Cork GAA county board and the Avondhu GAA divisional board. The club plays both Gaelic football and hurling. The Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-Op Superstores Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Cork PSHC) is an annual club hurling competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking senior clubs and amalgamated teams in the county of Cork in Ireland, deciding the competition winners through a group and knockout format. It is the most prestigious competition in Cork hurling. Midleton Hurling and Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Midleton, County Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Sarsfields GAA (Cork)
Sarsfields GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Glanmire, County Cork, Ireland. The club, a sister club of Glanmire, is solely concerned with the game of hurling. History Sarsfields GAA Club was established by a group of men, led by Billy O'Neill, in 1894. Named in honour of the Irish Jacobite and soldier Patrick Sarsfield, 1st Earl of Lucan, the club was first formally registered in 1896. Sarsfields claimed their first county honours in 1937, when the Cork JHC was secured, however, there were also Cork SHC final defeats in 1909, 1936, 1940 and 1947. Sarsfields made the SHC breakthrough in 1951 following a 5–08 to 3–07 defeat of Glen Rovers in the final. The club added a second SHC title after a defeat of University College Cork in 1957.
