Mick McDermott
Michael McDermott (born 1974) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of League of Ireland First Division club Cobh Ramblers. Early life Born in Belfast, McDermott attended Belfast Boys' Model School and played for Cliftonville and Distillery at youth levels. He won a soccer scholarship at the University of Rhode Island. He made three caps for Northern Ireland national under-18. Playing career He has played in USL Second Division. Coaching career McDermott has held coaching positions at some of Asia's biggest clubs; Al Ain (Abu Dhabi), Esteghlal (Tehran) and Al-Nasr (Dubai). Previously he was the fitness coach of the Iran national football team during their successful World Cup 2014 qualification campaign. Ballymena United
Ballymena United Football Club is a semi-professional football club from Northern Ireland. Based in Ballymena, County Antrim, the team competes in the NIFL Premiership and plays home matches at the Ballymena Showgrounds. The club has been managed by former captain Jim Ervin since 2023. Gary Smyth
Gary Smyth (born 20 December 1969 in Belfast) is a Northern Irish former footballer and manager. He played as a centre back for Glentoran, Glenavon, Ballymena and Crusaders. He previously managed Glentoran in 2019 and had two spells managing H&W Welders, first from 2013 to 2018 and the second spell from 2019 to 2022. Playing career Smyth signed for Glentoran from Holywood in 1988, winning numerous trophies and remaining there until 1995, when he signed for Glenavon, where he enjoyed more success, before returning to The Oval in 2000. He was named as the Ulster Footballer of the Year for the 2002/03 season. In 2007, he joined Crusaders, initially on loan, and later on a permanent transfer. The 2019 AFC Asian Cup (or commonly called the Asian Cup 2019) was the 17th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international association football, football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Carlos Manuel Brito Leal de Queiroz (; born 1 March 1953) is a Portuguese football manager.
