Alexandre Michon
Alexander Mishon (russian: Александр Михайлович Мишон; 5 July 1858, in Kharkiv – 5 July 1921, near Samara) was a Russian Empire photographer and cinematographer. Born to a French family in Kharkiv, he started his career as a photographer and owned a photo studio in his hometown. He later settled in Baku (nowadays capital of Azerbaijan) and lived there for 25 years. Here, in 1898, he shot his first films using a Lumière cinematograph. Michon is widely regarded as the pioneer of Azerbaijani cinema. Ingrid Johanna Maria Michon-Derkzen (born 14 September 1976) is a Dutch civil servant and politician of the conservative liberal People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). She was elected to the House of Representatives in the 2021 general election, and she previously served as a member of the municipal council of The Hague (2014–18). He worked extensively with the United Nations to preserve the cultural heritage of Morocco. Biography Born in Nancy, France, in 1924, Michon was in college at the advent of WWII. Louis-Marie Michon (2 November 1802 in Blanzy, Saône-et-Loire – 6 May 1866 in Paris) was a French surgeon. He studied medicine in Paris, where in 1826 he became an interne (''interne provisoire'' the preceding year). From 1830 he served as ''aide d’anatomie'' to the medical faculty, attaining his agrégation in surgery in 1832 with the thesis ''De la carie et de la nécrose''. Mélina Robert-Michon (; born 18 July 1979) is a French discus thrower. She was the silver medalist at the 2013 World Championships and 2016 Summer Olympics and the national record holder.
