Michelle Sol
Irma Michelle Martha Ninette Sol Schweikert de Castro (born 20 December 1972), commonly known Michelle Sol, is a Salvadoran politician and businesswoman who currently serves as the minister of housing of El Salvador. She previously served as the mayor of Nuevo Cuscatlán from 2015 to 2019, and was a candidate for mayor of La Libertad Este in 2024. Early life Irma Michelle Martha Ninette Sol Schweikert was born on 20 December 1972 in Nuevo Cuscatlán, El Salvador. Sol is a niece of Ana Ligia Mixco Sol de Saca, the first lady of El Salvador from 2004 to 2009. Sol studied at the Excellent Municipal Management School in Madrid, Spain, and the Doctor José Matías Delgado University in San Salvador, El Salvador. She received a degree in municipal legislation from the latter. Sol worked as the marketing and public relations director at Tecnutral, a family business. San José Villanueva
San Jose Villanueva is a small municipality in the Department of La Libertad, El Salvador. San Jose Villanueva has a population of 14,000 inhabitants (according to the PNC) and 9,896 inhabitants (according to SIBASI 2001). It is located in the south of the Department, bordered by the cities of Nuevo Cuscatlán to the north, Huizucar to the east, the port of La Libertad to the south and Zaragoza to the west. The town contains a health clinic, six schools, an institute, a Catholic church, and seven Protestant churches. In the last several years, the municipality has seen an influx of the upper middle class, including the introduction of a gated housing development. Huizúcar is a municipality in the city of La Libertad in El Salvador. The town of Huizúcar is the head of the Huizúcar district in the city of La Libertad. This town is 23 kilometers (14 miles) away from San Salvador and has an elevation of 640 meters (2,100 feet) above sea level. The patron saint of the town is Saint Michael the Archangel. Church of Huizúcar The Church of Huizúcar is a colonial style church that was built in 1740. Although the builder remains unknown, many believe that the plan of the church was designed by Friar Martín de Jesús. Antiguo Cuscatlán ''(colloquially known as Antiguo)'' is a municipality in the La Libertad department of El Salvador; its eastern tip lies in the San Salvador Department part of the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador, southwest of San Salvador and southeast of Santa Tecla.
