Michał Kobosko
Michał Andrzej Kobosko (born April 15, 1968) is a Polish people, Polish press journalist and political activist. He is the Vice-president of the Poland 2050 association and chairman of the Poland 2050 party by Szymon Hołownia. In the 2023 Polish parliamentary election he was elected to the Sejm for the Third Way (Poland), Third Way in Sejm Constituency no. 19. Elected as a Member of the European Parliament in 2024. Career He studied at the Warsaw University of Technology. The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland ( Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of Poland. ''Newsweek Polska'' is a Polish language weekly news magazine published in Poland as the Polish edition of ''Newsweek''. History ''Newsweek Polska'' was established in 2001. The founder of the weekly is Tomasz Wróblewski. The magazine is owned by Axel Springer. It is based in Warsaw and is published weekly on Mondays. Although it is a Polish version of ''Newsweek'', it does not fully cover the translations of the articles published in its parent magazine. 2020 Polish Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Poland on 28 June 2020. As no candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 12 July, in which incumbent president Andrzej Duda, running with the support of Law and Justice, faced off against Civic Platform vice-chairman and Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. Results from the second round of voting, announced by the National Electoral Commission (PKW) on 13 July, indicated that Andrzej Duda had won with 51.03% compared to Rafał Trzaskowski's 48.97%. The first round of voting was due to be held on 10 May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland. Tomasz Rafał Lis (born 6 March 1966 in Zielona Góra) is a Polish journalist and former TV anchor of “ TVN Fakty” ("TVN Facts") and “Wydarzenia” ("Events").
