Michalis Tzirakis
Michalis Tzirakis (; born 6 March 1954) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as defender. Club career Tzirakis took his first football steps in 1968 he joined OFI youth team and in 1971 he became a professional, playing in the outside right position with success. When OFI was promoted to the first division, he played with the first team and from then on he became irreplaceable. However arrival at OFI of the great coach Les Shannon also marked a change for Tzirakis since he established himself in the position of libero where his performance rose a lot and his game was distinguished by dynamism and self-sacrifice. His good performances attracted the interest of PAOK, who in 1979 made an offer to OFI, which the latter rejected. In the summer of 1980 it was AEK's turn to show interest for the player. Petros Ravousis
Petros Ravousis (; born 1 October 1954) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as defender and a former manager. Club career Ravousis took his first football steps in Aetos Skydra from where he was transferred to AEK Athens in the summer of 1972. A dynamic and tough defender, who was developed by the then coach František Fadrhonc. The Czech coach, by moving Lakis Nikolaou from the attack to the center of defense and pairing him with Ravousis, created one of the best defensive duos in Greek football history, as the one complemented the other's capabilities. Ravousis, being dynamic and agile, also contributed to the team's scoring, usually in set-pieces in the opponent's area. 1982–83 Greek Football Cup
The 1982–83 Greek Football Cup was the 41st edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 74 teams participated, each with their own favorite brand names, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 40 from Beta, and 16 from Gamma. It was held in 7 rounds, included final. An additional round was held between First and Second, with 5 matches, in order that the teams would continue to be 32. For first time participated teams from Gamma Ethniki, while that year the particular division was established. The final was contested by AEK Athens and PAOK. The two teams not only met themselves for a fourth consecutive year in the competition (PAOK had qualified the three previous times), but also 5 years after the 1978 final. Lakis Nikolaou (; born 17 July 1949) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a centre back. He is the current medical director of AEK Athens. Early life Nikolaou was born on July 18 of 1949 in Ios of Cyclades. He spent his school years in Peristeri and finished high school in 1966 at the Anargyrio and Korgialenio School, in Spetses where he was enrolled as a boarder together with his brother. He started playing football at an early age, when with friends and neighbors they formed the Irodotos Peristeri team, playing friendly matches with other teams in the area. In these matches he was watched by the people of Atromitos, who signed in 1967. In Atromitos he started playing as a defender and then as a striker, due to the team's lack of attackers.
