Michalis Simigdalas
Michalis Simigdalas (; born 23 June 1944) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as midfielder. Club career Simigdalas started in 1958 at the infrastructure departments of AEK Athens, under Giorgos Daispangos and was promoted to the first team in 1963. His coextistanse with many great players of the time did not allowed him to establish himself in the club, however he stayed at the club for 6 seasons. A member of the squad that won second place in the Balkans Cup in 1967, losing only in the final by Fenerbahçe. He was a regular player in the team that reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup in 1969. During his spell at AEK, he won the Championship in 1968 season and 2 Cups. In the summer of 1969, he left AEK and played for Apollon Athens, where his older brother Nikos also played. Nea Filadelfeia
Nea Filadelfeia ( el, Νέα Φιλαδέλφεια, meaning ''New Philadelphia'') is a suburb of Athens, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Filadelfeia-Chalkidona, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 2.850 km2. It was named after the Anatolian city Filadelfeia, now Alaşehir in Turkey, and it was settled by Greek refugees from Asia Minor after the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922). Foe the second time in three editions, the Cup Final was scratched: AEK Athens were awarded the Cup as the HFF was late to determine a date for the match. The 1963–64 Greek Football Cup was the 22nd edition of the Greek Football Cup. The Final was scratched and AEK Athens were awarded the cup after Panathinaikos and Olympiacos were ejected from the competition following the abandonment of their semi-final in the 115th minute with the score 1–1 due to riots by supporters from both teams, who believed the match had been fixed to end in a draw in order to have a replay for financial reasons (this was the same reason that the Final of 1961–62 was abandoned and the Cup withheld).
