Michael Wright (Australian Footballer)
Michael Wright (born 6 October 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Sydney Swans, South Melbourne in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Wright was a versatile key-position player, recruited from Oakleigh Districts, the same club his brother Stephen Wright (Australian rules footballer), Stephen started out at. Their father Jack holds the most games played record with the Box Hill Football Club. He first played in the 1978 VFL season. In his second game, against Fitzroy Football Club, Fitzroy at Junction Oval, he kicked five behinds but only one goal. Despite starting as a forward, he was often as a full-back by South Melbourne and he had his most productive season in 1979 with 17 appearances. He played some good football from centre half-forward in 1980 and in a win over Footscray took nine marks and had 21 disposals. Michael Wright (architect)
Alec Michael John Wright, CMG (; 19 September 1912 – 26 January 2018) was a chartered surveyor and Director of Public Works of Hong Kong. He was a longtime colonial civil servant and chief architect of the Public Works Department. He was also an official member of the Legislative Council and Urban Council. He was responsible for many infrastructure and housing projects and advocated for private bathroom and kitchen in every unit of the housing estate which is known as the "Wright Principle". He was the founding member and president of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. Biography Wright was born in Hong Kong on 19 September 1912 into a civil servant family. Michael Wright (died 19 November 1969) was an Australian writer of radio and television drama. He was from Adelaide. Wright was part of the original story team on ''Bellbird''. Sir Michael Robert Wright, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George, GCMG (3 December 1901 – 10 June 1976) was a British diplomat. He was the British Ambassador to Norway, British ambassador to Norway from 1951 to 1954 and then British Ambassador to Iraq, to Iraq from 1954 to 1958. He also served in places like the United States, Egypt and France. In July 1957, he and his wife, Ursula Long were held prisoner by Iraqi rebels at the British embassy in Baghdad. Michael Ragsdale Wright, also known as M. Ragsdale Wright (born 1944), is an American visual artist, painter, and educator. He works in both traditional and electronic media. Early life and education Michael Ragsdale Wright was born January 26, 1944, in La Grande, Oregon. He holds a BFA degree in painting and drawing, and a BA degree in European history from the University of Washington, in Seattle. Michael Anthony Wright (born April 30, 1957), known professionally as Wonder Mike, is an American hip hop recording artist and member of the Sugarhill Gang. The group was part of the hip hop movement in the 1970s and 1980s.
