Michael Whitton is an American film director and film editor based in Los Angeles, California. Both his feature film, feature directorial and picture editorial debut is the independent romantic comedy film ''Exit Strategy (film), Exit Strategy'', released in the U.S. in February 2012 and considered by some as one of the most popular comedy feature films released in 2012. Prior to ''Exit Strategy'', Whitton directed and edited the short film ''Trumped (2009 film), Trumped''.
