Michael Keith Valentine "Mike" Wheeler (14 February 1935 in Watford 15 January 2020 in Poole) was a British athlete who competed in the 440 yards / 400 metres track events. He competed for Great Britain in the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia, where he won the bronze medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay The 4 × 400 metres relay or long relay is an athletics track event in which teams consist of four runners who each complete 400 metres or one lap. It is traditionally the final event of a track meet. At top class events, th ... with his teammates Peter Higgins, John Salisbury, and Derek Johnson. In the 440 yards event, Wheeler was the English public schools record holder in 1953, the joint English Native record holder in 1955, and the British over 30s and AAA Champion in 1956. Sir Michael Addison John Wheeler-Booth (25 February 1934 – 26 March 2018) was a British public servant and Clerk of the Parliaments. He was educated at Leighton Park School, Reading, and Magdalen College, Oxford. He became a Clerk in the House of Lords in 1960, and spent his career in the service of the House apart from a period of secondment to HM Treasury from 1965 to 1969. Michael C. Wheeler (born November 4, 1978), also known by his nickname "Wheels", is a former American NASCAR Crew Chief and is the current Director of Competition for 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Wheeler previously worked for Joe Gibbs Racing from 2005 to 2018 as an engineer and a crew chief in both the Cup and Xfinity Series. He moved over to the JGR-aligned Leavine Family Racing for the next two years, working as a crew chief in 2019 and then as the team's competition director for 2020. Michael Lewis Wheeler (born June 30, 1961) is a Chicago blues songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. His first gig was with Muddy Waters' piano player, Lovie Lee. He performed with numerous Chicago bands and well-known artists such as Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, and Shemekia Copeland. He formed his own band, the Mike Wheeler Band, in 2001.His CD, ''Self Made Man'', was released by Delmark Records in 2012 with critical acclaim. He was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. He is a regular performer at the famed Chicago blues club, Kingston Mines.
