Michael Sutton is an American actor. Background Sutton was born in Los Angeles, California the son of Joseph Sutton, publicist, manager & author. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School. He has a bachelor's degree in Film Production from Cal State University Northridge 1992. He was the president of Production Ardustry Entertainment in 2005 and a founding member of the Next Generation Council for the Motion Picture & Television Fund from 2003 to the present. Sutton is best known for playing the HIV, HIV-positive teenager and AIDS victim Stone Cates on the daytime serial ''General Hospital''. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 1996 for that role. Mike Sutton (born March 21, 1956) is a retired American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Tennessee Technological University. He took over in 2002, after Jeff Lebo departed to lead the basketball program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Michael Dewayne Sutton (born April 25, 1975) is a former American football defensive end. Sutton played college football at LSU. Professionally, Sutton began his career with the Tennessee Oilers of the NFL in 1998 and later played in NFL Europe, XFL and Arena Football League. He was a two-time All-NFL Europe honoree. Early life and college career Born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Sutton graduated from Salmen High School in Slidell, Louisiana. Sutton then attended Louisiana State University, where he played at defensive end for LSU Tigers football from 1994 to 1997 with a total of 80 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and three fumble recoveries. Pro football career After the 1998 NFL draft, Sutton signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Oilers on April 20, 1998. Michael John Sutton (5 October 1944 – 26 December 2020) was an English professional footballer. He played in the Football League for three clubs. Two of his sons, Chris and John, have also played professionally. Playing career Sutton began his career in his home city of Norwich with Norwich City, with whom he turned professional in September 1962. He made more than 50 league appearances over the next five years and then joined Chester. This followed successful efforts by Chester manager Peter Hauser to persuade a disillusioned Sutton not to go ahead with his plans to quit football. Sutton played in all league games over the next three seasons (including one substitute appearance) before moving to Carlisle United for £10,000 at a time when Chester were in financial difficulties. Michael Robert Sutton (born September 1959, Orpington) is an ex-Reader (academic rank), reader in criminology in the School of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University, where he established the now defunct Centre for Study and Reduction of Bias, Prejudice and Hate Crime and is co-founder and chief editor of the ''Internet Journal of Criminology''. Tony Sutton (cricketer)
Michael Antony Sutton (29 March 1921 – 28 June 2019) played first-class cricket for Oxford University in 1946 and 1947 and also appeared in a single first-class match for Somerset in 1948, playing against Oxford University. He was born at Weymouth, Dorset. CricketArchive lists him as "Tony Sutton" and this is confirmed in a book published in 2018 that includes material from interviews with him. Sutton was educated at Ampleforth College and at Worcester College, Oxford. In the Second World War, he was part of the Westminster Dragoons involved in the Normandy landings and was awarded a Military Cross and latterly a Legion d'Honneur for his service. Mike & Brenda Sutton was an American musical duo composed of Michael B. Sutton and Brenda Sutton. The duo are best known for both their songwriting-production work at Motown and their own recordings in the early 1980s, including the dance song "Don't Let Go of Me (Grip My Hips and Move Me)" as remixed by Shep Pettibone. Discovered by Stevie Wonder, both became writers and producers at Motown Records, working there from 1974 to 1979. The duo produced numerous hits at the label, most notably " There Will Come a Day" by Smokey Robinson, " Stay with Me" by Jermaine Jackson, as well as songs by the group Switch. They are the recipients of one gold and two platinum albums for their work.
