Michael Stahl (Althistoriker)
Michael Stahl (born 15 September 1987) is a German association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder or Defender (association football), defender for and manages TuS Koblenz. On 26 October 2010, he scored a goal from 61.5 metres in a DFB-Pokal match against Hertha BSC which Koblenz went on to win 2–1. The goal was voted as the ARD (broadcaster), ARD Goal of the Month (Germany), Goal of the Month and as the Goal of the Year (Germany), Goal of the Year. Diez, Germany
Diez () is a town in Germany's Rhein-Lahn-Kreis, Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate, on the borders of Hesse. Diez is the administrative seat of the Diez (Verbandsgemeinde), municipality of Diez. Sitting on the confluence of the Lahn and Aar rivers, the town and the area have been inhabited by humans since the Stone Age. The old town is dominated by an eleventh century castle, now a youth hostel and museum. It is the ancestral home of the House of Nassau-Dietz, which in 1815 became the Monarchy of the Netherlands, Dutch royal family. ARD (broadcaster)
ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional Public broadcasting, public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services—in particular the introduction of a joint television network. ARD has a budget of €6.9 billion, 22,612 employees and is the largest public broadcaster network in the world. The budget comes primarily from a mandatory licence fee which every household, company and public institution, regardless of television ownership, is required by law to pay. For an ordinary household the fee is €18.36 per month, as of 2023. Households living on Welfare in Germany, welfare are exempt from the fee.
