Michael John Osborne (born 9 April 1932) is an English people, English former first-class cricketer and Royal Air Force airman. While serving in the Royal Air Force, Osborne played first-class cricket for the Combined Services cricket team. He made his debut in 1961 against the touring South African Fezela XI, South Africa Fezelas at United Services Recreation Ground, Portsmouth. He made two further appearances in 1962, against Cambridge University Cricket Club, Cambridge University at Fenner's, and Ireland cricket team, Ireland at Ormeau Cricket Ground, Belfast. In the match against Cambridge University, he recorded what would his only first-class half century by making 60 runs in the Combined Services first-innings. Michael Osborne (born 29 July 1982) is a former Australian rules football coach and player who most recently served as a development coach with the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). In 2014 and 2015 as a player, before opening The Australian Rules Football College (ARFC) with premiership teammate Brad Sewell, he played with the Hawthorn Football Club. Colonel Michael Ashby Chadwick Osborn DSO, OBE, MC (28 July 1917 – 15 January 2010) was an officer in the British Army and a former commander of the 22nd Special Air Service Regiment. He played a leading part in the arrest of Heinrich Himmler, the D-Day invasion strategy, as well as the North and East African Campaigns.
