Michael Oakes
Michael Christian Oakes (born 30 October 1973) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player he was a goalkeeper from 1991 until 2008. He notably played in the Premier League for Aston Villa and in the Football League for Scarborough, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City. He also had minor loan spells whilst with Villa at Bromsgrove Rovers, Gloucester City, Scarborough and Tranmere Rovers. He also won seven England Under-21 caps during his spell at Villa Park Since retirement Oakes has worked as a goalkeeping coach for both Wrexham and Walsall. Club career Aston Villa Oakes began his career in Aston Villa's youth system. Paul Jones (footballer, Born 1967)
Paul Steven Jones (born 18 April 1967) is a retired Welsh international football goalkeeper. During his playing career, he played for several clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stockport County and Southampton. Career history Club career Born in Chirk near Wrexham, Jones started his career at Bridgnorth Town, joining Kidderminster Harriers in 1986 and then moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee of £60,000 in 1991. He only managed to play 44 games before moving on to Stockport County in 1996 where he was ever present in the 1996–97 season. Matt Murray (English Footballer)
Matthew William Murray (born 2 May 1981) is an English former football goalkeeper. He spent his entire career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, making precisely 100 appearances, including one in the Premier League. His career was curtailed by numerous injuries, and he retired at the age of 29. Since retiring, Murray has worked as a match reporter and in-studio summariser for Sky Sports News, and was the goalkeeping coach at the Nike Academy. Molineux Stadium ( ) in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, has been the home ground of Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889. The first stadium built for use by a Football League club, it was one of the first British grounds to have floodlights installed and hosted some of the earliest European club games in the 1950s. Michael Stowell (born 19 April 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is now first team coach and goalkeeping coach at Leicester City. As a player, he spent twenty years as a professional, eleven of which were with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He is married to former England women's international footballer Rachel Stowell. Gaining his chance in the professional game at Preston North End in 1985, he impressed enough to receive a contract with top-flight Everton later in the year. In his five years at the club he was loaned out to Chester City, York City, Manchester City, Port Vale, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Preston North End.
