Michael McGrath (; born 23 August 1976) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and European commissioner, EU Commissioner for European Commissioner for Justice, Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection. He served as Minister for Finance (Ireland), Minister for Finance from December 2022 to June 2024. He served as Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform from 2020 to 2022. The Commissioner for Justice is a post in the European Commission. The portfolios of Justice and Equality were previously combined as ''Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality'' under commissioner is Věra Jourová; however, the two portfolios were split in 2019. 2016 Irish General Election
The 2016 Irish general election to the 32nd Dáil was held on Friday 26 February, following the dissolution of the 31st Dáil by President of Ireland, President Michael D. Higgins on 3 February, at the request of Taoiseach Enda Kenny. The general election took place in 40 Dáil constituencies throughout Ireland to elect to elect 158 Teachtaí Dála to Dáil Éireann, the house of representatives of the Oireachtas. There was a reduction of eight seats under the Electoral (Amendment) (Dáil Constituencies) Act 2013. Fine Gael were returned to government as a minority administration. Fine Gael, led by Kenny, lost 26 seats, but remained the largest party in the Dáil with 50 seats. Brian Joseph Lenihan (21 May 1959 – 10 June 2011) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as Minister for Finance from 2008 to 2011, Deputy leader of Fianna Fáil from March 2011 to June 2011, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform from 2007 to 2008 and Minister of State for Children from 2002 to 2007. Carrigaline (; ) is a town and civil parish in County Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland, situated on the River Owenabue. Located about south of Cork (city), Cork city, and with a population of 18,239 people, it is one of the largest commuter towns in the county. The R611 road, R611 regional road passes through the town, and it is just off the N28 road, N28 national primary route to Ringaskiddy. Cork's Red FM
Cork's RedFM is an Irish radio station which broadcasts to Cork and the surrounding area, and is aimed at a youth audience. The station commenced broadcasting on 16 January 2002" and was awarded Ireland's first youth radio licence. Its target market is the 15-35 age group in Cork city and county.
