Michael Kohn
Michael Thomas Kohn (born June 26, 1986) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 13th round (409th overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft after playing college baseball at the College of Charleston. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Angels in 2010, and also played for the Atlanta Braves. Professional career Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Kohn made his major league debut on July 26, 2010, against the Boston Red Sox at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. He finished the season appearing in 24 games, going 2-0. In 2011, Kohn struggled with control, walking 9 in 12.1 innings and allowing 10 runs. In baseball, a save ( SV or S) is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain circumstances. A save can be earned by entering a game in which his team is leading by three or fewer runs and finishing the game by pitching at least one inning without losing the lead; entering the game with the tying run in the on-deck circle, at the plate or on the bases and finishing the game; or by pitching at least three innings in relief and finishing the game regardless of how many runs your team was winning by when entering the game. The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are located in Reno, Nevada, and play their home games at Greater Nevada Field, which opened in 2009. The Jackson Generals were a professional baseball team located in Jackson, Tennessee.
