Michael "Mișa" Klein (10 October 1959 – 2 February 1993) was a Romanian footballer who played as a left-back. Early years Michael Klein, nicknamed ''Mișa'', was born on 10 October 1959 in Amnaș, Romania, being half of Transylvanian Saxon origin from his father side. Club career He started to play football at Corvinul Hunedoara's youth center in 1973, making his debut for the senior team on 24 August 1977 under coach Ștefan Coidum in a Divizia A match which ended 2–2 against Argeș Pitești. In the following season he was sent on a loan at Divizia B team, Aurul Brad, but in the 1978–79 Divizia A season he was brought back to Corvinul by the team's new coach, Mircea Lucescu. At the end of Klein and Lucescu's first season spent at Corvinul Hunedoara, the club relegated to Divizia B, but Klein stayed with the club, promoting back to the first division after one year. Michael Klein is an author, and former World Bank official. Klein has published and co-authored several policy papers on the emerging markets and the effectiveness of foreign aid. He has regularly argued for enabling the private sector to bring about economic development rather than direct aid to the poorest nations. Michael Klein (writer)
Michael Klein (born August 17, 1954) is an American Lambda literary award-winning fiction writer, poet, and faculty member of the English department at Goddard College and The Frost Place Conference on Poetry. Life Klein was born in Washington, DC and attended Bennington College as an undergraduate, later receiving his MFA from Vermont College. He resides in New York City, where he has lived since the age of two. Klein attended PS 41 in the West Village, and New Lincoln School on the Upper West Side for Junior High School, and finished at New York City's Music and Art High School where he studied voice. Among his mentors was Adrienne Rich, attending poetry workshops with a select few other teenagers. Not only an important influence on his love of poetry and writing, she became a life long friend with whom he would share time whenever she came to New York for a reading engagement or to visit her home city. Sunlight Foundation
The Sunlight Foundation was an American 501(c)(3) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that advocated for open government. The organization was founded in April 2006 with the goal of increasing transparency and accountability in the United States Congress, the executive branch, and in state and local governments. The foundation's primary focus was the role of money in politics. The organization sought to increase campaign finance regulations and disclosure requirements. Michael George Clyne (12 October 1939 – 29 October 2010) was an Australian linguist, academic and intellectual. He was a scholar in various fields of linguistics, including sociolinguistics, pragmatics, bilingualism and multilingualism, second language learning, contact linguistics and intercultural communication. Biography Clyne was born on 12 October 1939 in Prahran, Melbourne. He was the only child of the Jewish Austrian couple Johannes Jacob and Edith Cecily Clyne who had left their home country after the ''Anschluss''. He was educated at Christ Church Grammar School, and at Caulfield Grammar School, where he was taught by Samuel Billigheimer.
