Michael Jochum
Michael Jochum is an American rock/jazz/nu metal drummer. Although a session musician early in his career, he gained more recognition as a touring member of the band Korn. He started as a musician in the late 1970s as a member of the jazz rock/jazz fusion band, Kittyhawk. He also began performing on sessions for the likes of jazz musician David Pritchard, Ronnie Laws, Bobby Bland, and DeBarge. By the mid-1980s, he was playing alongside then-former Oingo Boingo members Richard Gibbs and Kerry Hatch in the band Zuma II, which had an eponymously titled record released by Pasha/CBS Records. One of his first major contributions as a session musician was as the sole drummer on the self-titled debut album from songwriting/recording duo Boy Meets Girl. Joey Jordison
Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison (April 26, 1975 – July 26, 2021) was an American musician. He was the original drummer of the nu metal band Slipknot (band), Slipknot, in which he was designated #1, and the guitarist for the horror punk Supergroup (music), supergroup Murderdolls. Jordison grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, with his parents and two sisters, and was given his first drum kit at the age of 8. He performed with many bands early in his career; then in 1995, he joined a band called the Pale Ones, which would later change their name and become Slipknot. Jordison played in Slipknot since its inception, helping form the band until his departure in December of 2013. David Silveria
David Randall Silveria (born September 21, 1972) is an American musician, best known as the original drummer for nu metal band Korn from 1993 until leaving the band in 2006. He then became the drummer for Infinika, which was formed in 2012 and disbanded in 2015. As of 2019, Silveria was the drummer of a band called Breaking in a Sequence (B.I.A.S). ''Boy Meets Girl'' is the debut album by American pop singer-songwriters George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, also known as Boy Meets Girl. It was released on A&M Records in 1985, and was their only disc for the label. The album included the single "Oh Girl" peaked at No. 39, becoming the band's first top 40 hit on the ''Billboard'' pop chart The album was written by Rubicam and Merrill, with one outside writer receiving co-credit on one track. The music is much different from their later work as it has a more prominent hard rock influence. Richard "Ribbs" Gibbs (born December 5, 1955) is an American film composer and music producer whose credits include '' Dr. Dolittle'', '' Big Momma's House'', '' Queen of the Damned'', the television series ''Battlestar Galactica'' and the first season of ''The Simpsons''. Musical career Gibbs was the keyboard player for the new wave band Oingo Boingo from 1980 to 1984. DeBarge
DeBarge was an American musical recording group composed of several members of the DeBarge family. In addition to various solo projects completed by members of the family, DeBarge was active between 1979 and 1989. The group originally consisted of El, Mark, Randy, and Bunny. James joined the group a year later for their 1982 second album. Bobby joined in 1987, following the departures of Bunny and El. DeBarge released six studio albums, four of them with Motown subsidiary Gordy Records. These albums included '' The DeBarges'' (1981), '' All This Love'' (1982), '' In a Special Way'' (1983), and '' Rhythm of the Night'' (1985). Bobby Bland
Robert Calvin Bland (born Robert Calvin Brooks; January 27, 1930 – June 23, 2013), known professionally as Bobby "Blue" Bland, was an American blues singer. Bland developed a sound that mixed gospel with the blues and R&B. He was described as "among the great storytellers of blues and soul music... hocreated tempestuous arias of love, betrayal and resignation, set against roiling, dramatic orchestrations, and left the listener drained but awed." The inspiration behind his unique style was a Detroit Preacher, CL Franklin, because Bland studied his sermons.
