Michael Joseph Nemes (born February 20, 1954) is an American politician who serves in the Kentucky State Senate representing the 38th Senate district since January 21, 2020. Kentucky's 38th Senatorial district is one of 38 districts in the Kentucky Senate. It comprises Bullitt County, Kentucky, Bullitt County, as well as part of Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson. It has been represented by Michael J. Nemes (Republican Party (United States), R–Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Shepherdsville) since 2020. As of 2023, the district had a population of 117,332.
