Michael Härtel
Michael Härtel (born 25 January 1998) is a German motorcycle rider. He competes in speedway, grasstrack and longtrack. He finished runner-up in the 2017 Longtrack World Championship. Career Härtel was born in Landshut, Germany and was the German Under 21 Champion on three occasions, in 2013, 2014 and 2015. He also started his longtrack career in 2015, competing in the World Longtrack Championship. In his first appearance he came third and his second saw his win a Vechta. In 2017, Härtel became a full competitor in the championship and took second overall. During the campaign he was third at Herxheim am Berg and Morizès, runner-up at La Réole and winner at Mühldorf. Also during 2017, he represented the German Under 21 team and has helped them to the 2017 European Championship finals in Poland. Martin Smolinski (born 6 December 1984) is a German motorcycle speedway rider. He is three-times world longtrack champion and eight times champion of Germany. Personal life Smolinski was born on 6 December 1984 in Munich, West Germany. He is of Polish descent through his paternal grandfather from Katowice. Career Smolinksi began riding in his natiove Germany for MSC Olching. He became the German junior champion in 2003 and after reaching the final 2003 Speedway Under-21 World Championship he signed for Coventry Bees in England. Coventry retained him for the following two seasons and his form improved over the next two seasons. In 2006, he signed for his first Polish club Rybnik and in 2007 became the German Champion for the first time. Also in 2007, he won the league and cup double with Coventry during the 2007 Elite League speedway season. Mariánské Lázně
Mariánské Lázně (; ) is a spa town in Cheb District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. Stephan Katt (born 15 September 1979) is a German former speedway rider. He competed in grasstrack, longtrack and motorcycle speedway. He earned one international cap for the German national speedway team. Career Katt was a member of Germany national long track team and is a six times World Team Champion. In addition, he also won the German national longtrack championship three times. He rode in Britain for Somerset Rebels in 2003 and from 2006 to 2008. In 2023, he was part of the German team, along with Erik Riss, Martin Smolinski and Jörg Tebbe, that won the silver medal at the 2023 Team Long Track World Championship.
