Michael Godden
Michael Godden (born 12 February 1975) is a former professional Australian Football League player and most recently the senior coach of the Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He was recruited from the West Adelaide Football Club to the Adelaide Crows in the Australian Football League (AFL) with the 116th selection in the 1992 AFL draft, but did not play a senior game. Godden has since coached 's reserves side, , and South Australia's state team. Playing career Godden played 89 senior games for and 56 games for the reserves team in the SANFL. He was drafted with the 116th selection in the 1992 AFL draft, but was delisted after a single season with the Adelaide Crows without playing a senior game for the club. West Adelaide Football Club is an Australian rules football club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Nicknamed the Bloods and commonly known as the Westies, the club's home base is Richmond Oval (currently known as Hisense Stadium under a sponsorship agreement). The 1992 AFL draft is the annual draft of talented players by Australian rules football teams that participate in the main competition of that sport, the Australian Football League. The South Australia state football team is the representative side of South Australia in the sport of Australian rules football. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the pre-eminent professional sports, professional competition of Australian rules football.
