Michael Cleary (rugby)
Michael Arthur Cleary Order of Australia, AO (born 30 April 1940) is an Australian former rugby union and rugby league footballer of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, and a politician. He represented Australia in both rugby codes as well as in athletics making him one of only four Australians who have represented their country at full international level in three different sports. He represented as a Australia national rugby union team, Wallaby in six Tests in 1961 and as a Australia national rugby league team, Kangaroo in eight Tests from 1962. Early life Cleary was born in Dover Heights, New South Wales and was educated at Waverley College. In 1943 having initially lived in Hardy street, his family moved to 17 Rodney Street, Dover Heights, where his father had built a new family home. At age 17, having set a number of schoolboy sprint records, he was offered a sporting scholarship to Stanford University, which he declined, with his sights set on representing Australia in athletics. ...

Michael Cleary (hurler)
Michael Cleary (born 16 August 1966) is an Irish former hurling manager and player. At club level he played with Nenagh Éire Óg and at inter-county level was a member of the Tipperary senior hurling team. Early life Born and raised in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Cleary played hurling during his schooldays at Nenagh CBS. He was part of the school's senior team that won the Corn Pádraig title in 1983, following a 3-12 to 1-02 defeat of Dungarvan CBS. Cleary later claimed an All-Ireland Colleges SBHC medal after Nenagh's 1-11 to 1-09 win over Callan CBS in the final. Club career Cleary began his career at juvenile and underage levels as a dual player with the Nenagh Éire Óg club before eventually progressing to adult level. He had his first success at adult level in 1983 when Nenagh Éire Óg beat Gortnahoe–Glengoole by 4-08 to 2-09 to claim the Tipperary JHC title. Michael Cleary (priest)
Michael Cleary (23 November 1933 – 31 December 1993) was an Irish Roman Catholic priest, who also became a radio and TV personality. Coming to public knowledge due to frequent appearances on RTE's Late Late Show, Cleary has been described in some sources as a "powerful and charismatic figure" in the Catholic Church in Ireland, . He was a magnetic personality, but seen as approachable. He presented a late-night radio phone-in show in Dublin in the 1980s and hosted his own television chat show. He also published a book about maintaining faith in the modern world. After he released two albums of songs, he was nicknamed "The Singing Priest". Cleary toured often under this moniker singing at fundraising events and cabaret shows. Bridget Cleary
Bridget Cleary (née Boland; ; 19 February 1869 – 15 March 1895) was an Irish woman who was murdered by her husband in 1895. She was either immolated or her body was set on fire immediately after her death. The husband's stated motive was his belief that she had been abducted by fairies and replaced with a changeling, which he then killed. The gruesome nature of the case prompted extensive press coverage, and the trial was closely followed by newspapers across Ireland. Micheál Clery or Michael Cleary was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician, solicitor and teacher. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) at the September 1927 general election for the Mayo North constituency.
