Michael Chris-Ike
Michael Chris-Ike (born January 2, 1999) is a Canadian professional football running back for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Delaware State. Early life Chris-Ike played high school football at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario. His senior year, he helped St. Thomas More earn a 10–0 record and become the No. 1 ranked high school football team in Canada. He rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns in five regular season games. He then totaled over 1,700 all-purpose yards in four postseason games, including rushing for 336 yards and five touchdowns in the OFSAA Golden Horseshoe Bowl. College career Chris-Ike played college football for the Delaware State Hornets from 2018 to 2023. He played in four games his freshman year, rushing for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Delaware State Hornets Football
The Delaware State Hornets football team represents Delaware State University (DSU) at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision level as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). They play at the 7,193-seat Alumni Stadium located in Dover, Delaware. The facility opened in 1957 as a multi-purpose venue, for football and track and field. History On November 9, 1980, Delaware State took on quarterback Neil Lomax and the Portland State Vikings and were defeated 105–0 in the biggest loss in Division I-AA Football history. This marked a low point for the team and with the help of new coach Joe Purzycki, the Hornets rebuilt their program. The three-cone drill, 3-cone drill or L-drill is a test performed by American football players. It is primarily run to evaluate the agility, quickness and fluidity of movement of players by scouts. It is most commonly seen at the NFL Combine in preparation for the NFL draft but is also an important measurement for collegiate recruiting. While not as highly regarded a test as the 40-yard dash, it is still an important measure used by team personnel to compare players.
