Michael Burgess (cricketer)
Michael Gregory Kerran Burgess (born 8 July 1994) is an English former cricketer who played for Warwickshire County Cricket Club and previously Sussex CCC. A wicketkeeper batsman, Burgess came through the Surrey Academy, making a total of 31 appearances at 2nd XI level between 2011 and 2013. Life The son of Scott Burgess and Vivienne ''née'' Clark, he was educated at Homefield then Cranleigh School in Surrey, before going up to read Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University (graduating BSc). Burgess made his first-class cricket debut for Loughborough MCCU against Sussex at Hove. In April 2015 in a non first-class game Burgess scored 116 against a Kent attack including first XI players Matt Coles and Adam Riley. Epsom
Epsom is a town in the borough of Epsom and Ewell in Surrey, England, about south of central London. Reigate Priory Cricket Club Ground
Reigate Priory Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Reigate, Surrey. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1853 when East Surrey played West Sussex. It hosted its first first-class match in 1909 when Surrey played Oxford University. The next first-class match came in 1924 when HDG Leveson-Gower's XI played the touring South Africans. HDG Leveson-Gower's XI returned to the Priory to play first-class matches in 1934, where they played 3 further matches from 1934 to 1936, playing their final first-class match there against Oxford University. Cheam Cricket Club Ground
Cheam Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Cheam, London (formerly Surrey). The first recorded match on the ground was in 1940, when Cheam played London Counties. Cheam CC was one of the founding members of the Surrey Championship and the club was established in 1864. More recently, the ground has held Surrey Second XI matches in the Second XI Championship and the Second XI Trophy. In 1968, the ground held a game for John Edrich against the International Cavaliers. The game attracted 8,000 people and was the first cricket match to be televised in colour by the BBC. The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is a cricket club founded in 1787 and based since 1814 at Lord's, Lord's Cricket Ground, which it owns, in St John's Wood, London, England. Ben Christopher Brown (born 23 November 1988) is an English cricketer who plays for Hampshire County Cricket Club as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. He had previously played for Sussex County Cricket Club serving as captain from 2017 to 2021. Early life Brown was born in Crawley, West Sussex and educated at Ardingly College. Brown came through the Sussex youth system, first appearing at under-11 level and going on to make his second XI debut in May 2004. Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Nottinghamshire.
