Micah Meisner is a former music video director who has won two Juno Awards on four nominations for his video work. Meisner and k-os were nominated for Video of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2003, 2003 Juno Awards for "Superstarr Pt. Zero". Along with k-os and The Love Movement (group), The Love Movement, he won the Juno Awards of 2005, 2005 Juno Award for Best Video for ''B-Boy Stance''. At the Juno Awards of 2005, 2006 Junos, Micah won the Best Video award for his Buck 65 video for "Devil Eyes". A music video director is the head, overseer or facilitator of music video production. The director conceives of videos' artistic and dramatic aspects while instructing the musical act, technical crew, actors, models, and dancers. They may or may not be in collaboration with the musical act. The Juno Awards (stylized as JUNOS), or simply known as the Junos, are awards presented by Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to recognize outstanding achievements in Canada's music industry. The Love Movement (group)
''The Love Movement'' is the fifth studio album by American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, and their last album released during group member Phife Dawg's lifetime. Released on September 29, 1998, by Jive Records, it is a concept album, exploring the lyrical theme of love. Musically, it is a continuation of the group's previous album, ''Beats, Rhymes and Life'', featuring minimalist R&B and jazz-oriented production by The Ummah. The lead single, " Find a Way", charted on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and was followed by a second single, " Like It Like That". The album debuted at number three on the ''Billboard'' 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on November 1, 1998. The Juno Awards of 2005 were held 3 April at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba and were hosted by comedian Brent Butt. Avril Lavigne and k-os won three awards each, while Billy Talent and Feist won 2 apiece. Nominations were announced 7 February 2005. The Tragically Hip were this year's Canadian Music Hall of Fame recipient. Dan Aykroyd was originally scheduled to present this honour, but inexplicably cancelled several days before the awards ceremony. Sarah Harmer presented the Hall of Fame award in his place.
