Micah Lasher
Micah C. Lasher is an American politician serving as a member of the New York General Assembly for district 69. He was previously the director of policy for governor Kathy Hochul and director of state legislative affairs under New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. Early life and education Micah Lasher grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He graduated from New York University in 2003 with a degree in sociology. Career In 2001, when Lasher was 19, he managed Brad Hoylman-Sigal's campaign for New York City Council. Lasher also served as an aide to Congressman Jerrold Nadler and director of state legislative affairs under New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg. He later became the chief of staff to the attorney general of New York. From 2017-2020, Lasher worked as Head of Policy and Communications at Sidewalk Labs. Riverside Park is a scenic waterfront public park in the Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, and Hamilton Heights neighborhoods of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Located on Manhattan's West Side, the park measures long and wide, running between the Hudson River and Henry Hudson Parkway to the west and the serpentine Riverside Drive to the east. Riverside Park was established by land condemnation in 1872 and was developed concurrently with Riverside Drive. Originally running between 72nd and 125th Streets, it was extended northward in the first decade of the 20th century.
