Mica McNeill
Mica McNeill (born 25 September 1993) is a British former bobsledder. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, and at the 2021–22 Bobsleigh World Cup event in Sigulda, Latvia. She competed at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. Early life McNeill is from Consett, County Durham, England, and attended Durham High School for Girls. Career She joined the British Bobsleigh programme in 2010, and competed at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. Competing alongside Jazmin Sawyers, she won a silver medal in the 2-girls bobsleigh event. She has competed in the 2-women bobsleigh event at the Bobsleigh World Championships. In 2013, McNeill and Nikki McSweeney came 20th, in 2015, McNeill and Aleasha Kiddle came 14th, and in 2016, McNeill and Natalie Deratt came 12th. Mica Moore
Mica Moore (born 23 November 1992) is a British women's sprinter and bobsleigher. She competed for Wales in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, and competed in the 2-women bobsleigh event at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Athletics career Moore began her sporting career as a sprinter, running for Birchfield Harriers and Cardiff Metropolitan University. Moore was coached by her father Lawrence. In May 2008, Moore won the 100m and 200m events at the under-17 Wales National Championships. Her mother Lolita Moore won the 100m and 200m Masters events at the same event. In May 2014, Moore, Hannah Thomas, Hannah Brier and Rachel Johncock broke the Welsh 4 × 100 metres relay national record at the Loughborough International event. IBSF World Championships (bobsleigh And Skeleton)
The IBSF World Championships (known as the FIBT World Championships until 2015), part of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation, have taken place on an annual basis since 1930. Starting with 2002, no World Championships being held in non-Winter Olympic years. A two-man event was included in 1931 with a combined championship occurring in 1947. Men's skeleton was introduced as a championship of its own in 1982 while women's bobsleigh and skeleton events were introduced in 2000. Both the women's bobsleigh and skeleton events were merged with the men's bobsleigh events at the 2004 championships. A mixed team event, consisting of one run each of men's skeleton, women's skeleton, 2-man bobsleigh, and 2-women bobsleigh, was held from 2007 to 2019.
