''Mga Mumunting Lihim'' (Those Little Secrets) is a 2012 Filipino drama film by Jose Javier Reyes. The film tells the story of four female friends and the secrets behind their friendship. It is one of the official entries for the Director's Showcase category in the Cinemalaya 2012. Synopsis Mariel, a housewife who died from cancer, left a box full of her diaries through the years to her best friend, Carly, an advertising executive. Though Sandra and Olive warned her not to read the diaries, she could not resist knowing what was written on those. Soon, all the hidden stories ruined their friendship. The story follows four long-time friends, Marissa, Tere, Rachel, and Carla, who have been inseparable since their college days. As they navigate through the challenges of adulthood, the friends find themselves facing unresolved issues and buried secrets from their past. Jose Javier Reyes
Jose "Joey" Javier Reyes (born October 21, 1954) is a Filipino director, screenwriter, lyricist, and actor. He has won awards at the Gawad Urian, Metro Manila Film Festival and Filipino Star Awards for Movies for his films, which include ''Pahiram ng Isang Umaga'', '' Batang PX'' and . He also wrote the screenplay for Filipino blockbuster '' Four Sisters and a Wedding'' from which a Filipino meme featuring Bea Alonzo was sourced. Javier Reyes is the uncle of Mark A. Reyes. Education Joey Reyes graduated from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines from the College of Liberal Arts. The 8th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival was held from July 20 until 29, 2012 in Metro Manila, Philippines. The awards night was held at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theater) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
