Mexican Softball League
The Mexican Softball League (LMS) (Spanish: Liga Mexicana de Softbol) is a professional softball league in Mexico. The LMS was established in September 2023 and started its first official season in January 2024. The league is affiliated to the Mexican League; all of the participant teams are softball sections of the Mexican League baseball teams. The LMS is the first professional softball league in Mexico and Latin America. Charros De Jalisco
The Charros de Jalisco ( en, Jalisco Horsemen) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Zapopan, Jalisco. Their home ballpark is Estadio Panamericano, and has a capacity of 16,500 people. Their initial season was 2014–15. The franchise was originally the Algodoneros de Guasave before it was purchased in April, 2014 by a group of investors led by Armando Navarro, and moved to Jalisco. The team previously played over different stages in the Mexican League, doing so for the last time in 1995. Coyoacán
Coyoacán ( , ) is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City. The former village is now the borough's "historic center". The name comes from Nahuatl and most likely means "place of coyotes", when the Aztecs named a pre-Hispanic village on the southern shore of Lake Texcoco dominated by the Tepanec people. Against Aztec domination, these people welcomed Hernán Cortés and the Spanish, who used the area as a headquarters during the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire and made it the first capital of New Spain between 1521 and 1523. Zapopan
Zapopan () is a city and municipality located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Part of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, the population of Zapopan city proper makes it the second largest city in the state, very close behind the population of Guadalajara proper. The Estadio Domingo Santana, also referred to as Estadio TV Cuatro Domingo Santana for sponsorship reasons, is a baseball stadium located in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
