Mette Gravholt
Mette Gravholt (born 12 December 1984) is a retired Danish handball player who played for Danish national team. Club career Early career Gravholt started playing handball aged 5 at Egtved IF. She later joined the youth team at Ikast Håndbold, followed by KIF Vejen. Later she joined the Danish 2nd tier team Roskilde Håndbold. In the 2007-08 she was the topscorer with 218 goals, which prompted a move to Slagelse FH. But due to the club having financial difficulties, she quickly returned to Roskilde. TTH In 2010 she joined Team Tvis Holstebro in the top Danish league. In 2011 she reached the final of the EHF Cup, where they lost to league rivals FC Midtjylland Håndbold. In 2013 she would go on to win the cup, which was the first in club history. In the 2011-12 season she was the topscorer in the Danish top league. Egtved
Egtved is a village with a population of 2,433 (as of 1 January 2025) near Vejle, Denmark in Vejle municipality in the Denmark, Danish Region of Southern Denmark. Nearby is Tørskind Gravel Pit, a sculpture park. The village has a Romanesque architecture, Romanesque church built in 1170, to which a tower was added in 1863. The Egtved Runestone, found near the church in 1863, is now on display in the church. Egtved Girl Near the village is a Bronze Age archaeological site (ca. 1370 BC) which contained an extremely well-preserved burial. It was discovered in 1921 and is one of the best preserved Bronze Age findings in Denmark. It contained the well preserved body of a girl known as the ''Egtved Girl''. On the site where she was found a tumulus, barrow with a diameter of 22 metres and a height of 4 metres was built. Roskilde Håndbold is a handball club from Roskilde, Denmark. Currently, Roskilde Håndbold competes in the women's Danish 1st Division. The home arena of the club is Roskilde Hallerne. The club has previously been known as Roar Roskilde. History In 1999 the Danish handball star player Anja Andersen made an attempt to buy the women's team, in an attempt to lift a smaller handball team to the top of the game. This did however not go through as Roskilde Municipality did not wish to cooperate. Instead she invested in Slagelse Dream Team. 2012 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2012 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Serbia from 4 to 16 December. Originally the tournament was scheduled to be held in the Netherlands but on 4 June 2012 the Dutch Handball Federation withdrew from the organization. Subsequently, the European Handball Federation (EHF) launched a new bidding process and eventually selected Serbia as the new host on 18 June 2012. Montenegro captured their first title by defeating defending champion Norway 34–31 in the final. Host selection Initially on its meeting on 27 September 2008 the EHF awarded the championship to the Netherlands, defeating Ukraine in the second round of voting while Germany and Serbia withdrew their candidacy during the congress. TV 2 is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station, based in Odense, Funen. The station was founded in 1986, and made its first official broadcast in 1988. 2016-17 Damehåndboldligaen
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there were hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
