Metropolitan Areas in Colombia are officially designated administrative and census areas, composed of an urban center and its associated municipalities. Description The following criteria must be met for a group of communities to be designated a Metropolitan Area: * Each one of the Municipalities, the secondary cities as well as the central city, must have a population of at least 50,000 inhabitants. * The secondary cities must integrate their city planning with that of the central city. * At least two-thirds of those employed in the area must perform non-rural activities. * Each of the secondary cities must have at least 10% of their workers employed in the central city. Tabio is a municipality and town of Colombia in the Departments of Colombia, department of Cundinamarca Department, Cundinamarca. It is located from Bogotá. Envigado
Envigado () is a city and municipality due South of Medellín, Colombia in the department of Antioquia Department, Antioquia. It is located in the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley. Itagüí
Itagüí () is a city and municipality of Colombia, located in the south of the Aburrá Valley in the Antioquia Department. It is part of the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley. Demographics The population was estimated to be 289,994 in 2020. The population at the 2005 census was 230,272 on an area of 17.74 km2.
