Metin Şentürk

	Metin Şentürk Metin Şentürk (born May 16, 1966) is a Turkish artist. Family life Şentürk was born in Topkapı into a family with origins from Kosovo. He lost his eyesight in an accident at the age of three. For primary education, he attended a school for the blind over eight years. His further education in high school and university took place however at traditional institutions. Metin Şentürk studied music and graduated from the State Conservatory at Istanbul Technical University. Şentürk is also the host of a television program on music and disability. He also founded the Istanbul-based World Disability Foundation and World Disability Union which has 200 members from six continents and 75 countries. In May 2006, he married Fulya Kalkavan, a member of a wealthy shipowner family. His wife filed for divorce in 2012 after she was diagnosed for thyroid cancer. 	Topkapı, Fatih Topkapı (meaning "Cannon Gate" in Turkish) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Fatih, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 10,218 (2022). Location Topkapı lies in the west end of Fatih district, under the ancient city walls. It is centred on the Kara Ahmed Pasha Mosque, which stands off Topkapı Caddesi, and is bounded by Vatan Caddesi to the north, and Turgut Ozal Millet Caddesi to the south. Name Topkapı is so named because it was the site at which the Ottoman cannon known as " The Basilic" was deployed during the siege of 1453, against the St Romanus gate in the city walls. The gate was the point at which Sultan Mehmed II entered the city after it fell. The gate was renamed to commemorate this, and the neighbourhood takes its name from there. 	Şanlıurfa GAP Airport Şanlıurfa GAP Airport is an airport located in Şanlıurfa Province, Turkey. It is located about northeast of the city centre of Şanlıurfa. The airport is part of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (, known as "GAP"), a regional development project in the area of the Atatürk Dam. The new airport is known as the "GAP airport" because it is designed to service the workers in the GAP project as well as the city of Şanlıurfa. Opened the 17 June 2007, it replaced the old Şanlıurfa Airport , which was located south of the city. The airport facilities include cafes, car hire offices, and airline ticket offices, but almost all facilities, including even the taxi rank, are staffed only when flights are due.
