Metaltech (band)
Metaltech (met'l tek) are a three piece Scottish metal/techno/rock/industrial dance music band from Edinburgh. They consist of Erik Tricity (Erik Grieve) performing vocals, rhythm guitar, programming and production, Lord Thrapston Flagellator, pronounced fla-jella-tor (Emmett Christie) playing bass guitar and the Insidious Doktor Mayhem (Rory Alsop) providing lead guitar and pyrotechnics. Their music is an amalgamation of rock/metal guitars, funk/slap bass, synthesizers, techno inspired programmed drums and tongue-in-cheek lyrics. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin (vocals and drums); they have since gone through several lineup changes, leaving Wyndorf as the only constant member. ''The Orcadian'' is the oldest newspaper in Orkney, Scotland, first published in 1854. At first a monthly paper, it soon became a weekly. The newspaper is based in Kirkwall but printed in Glasgow for sale every Thursday. It is part of the Orkney Media Group, formed out of a partnership with a competing newspaper, ''Orkney Today'', in 2007. Hanzel und Gretyl are an American industrial metal band founded in New York City by Kaizer von Loopy and Vas Kallas in February 1993. History ''Machines Good People Bad'' (1995–1999) Hanzel und Gretyl formed in early 1993. In April 1994, they completed a demo entitled ''Kindermusik''. Of the 200 cassette tapes manufactured, most were sent to record labels and fanzines and some were sold on consignment at a local music store called Bleeker Bob's. King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, also known as King Tut's, is a live music venue and bar on St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, Scotland. It is owned and managed by Glasgow-based gig promoters DF Concerts. The Glasgow live music venue takes its name from a club in New York that hosted music, comedy and performing arts events in the 1980s. SITD, stylised SITD:'', is a German EBM and industrial band founded in 1996 by Carsten Jacek and Thorsten Lau as Shadows in the Dark. History SITD was founded by Jacek and Lau in the Ruhr Area of Germany. In the next three years they self-produced and released their first two albums, ''mourning country'' (1996) and ''Atomic'' (1999). In 1999, Lau left the band to be replaced by Thomas Lesczenski. Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand.
