Metalik
Metalik (born November 3, 1988) is the ring name of a Mexican ''luchador'' '' enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) currently working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and on the independent circuit. He also performs on the weekly shows of Ring of Honor, AEW's sister promotion. He is best known for his time in WWE 2016–2021 where he performed under the ring name Gran Metalik, as a member of Lucha House Party, as well as for his time in CMLL where he performed under the ring name Máscara Dorada from 2008 – 2016. His real name has not been officially documented, a tradition in Mexican lucha libre where masked wrestlers' real names often are not a matter of public record. Lucha House Party
Lucha House Party was a professional wrestling stable and later tag team that consisted of Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado. It was originally formed as a trio consisting of cruiserweights Kalisto, Metalik and Dorado on the 205 Live brand in 2018. The group was based on the fact that the three were masked high-flying luchadores and implemented various elements of Kalisto's former tag team The Lucha Dragons. The trio would compete on the Raw and SmackDown brands challenging for the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships on many occasions between 2018 and 2020 until Kalisto was sidelined due to an injury. This led to Metalik and Dorado competing as a tag team for a while until Kalisto returned to WWE in the summer of 2020 but differences began arising within the group until Kalisto was separated from the team in the 2020 draft, which led to Lucha House Party becoming a tag team. Cruiserweight Classic
The Cruiserweight Classic, formerly the Global Cruiserweight Series, was a professional wrestling tournament and WWE Network event produced by WWE. All participants were billed at a weight of 205 lbs or less to determine the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion for WWE's revived cruiserweight division. The tournament consisted of various matches that had predetermined results. Tournament qualifying matches took place in various promotions of the independent circuit, including well-known promotions such as Revolution Pro Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, and Evolve. Many cruiserweight wrestlers from around the world were given the chance to qualify for the 32-man tournament, which took place over four dates: June 23, July 13, August 26, and September 14, 2016. José Rafael Cordero (born May 11, 1987), better known by the ring name Lince Dorado (Spanish for Golden Lynx), is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE as a wrestler and a trainer at the WWE Performance Center. Cordero began his career in 2007, working for several independent promotions in Puerto Rico and United States, most notably the Philadelphia-based Chikara, where he won the 2008 edition of the King of Trios, a tournament between trios along with El Pantera and Incognito. Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The ''Torneo Gran Alternativa'' (Spanish language, Spanish for "the Great Alternative Tournament") is an annual ''lucha libre'' (professional wrestling) tournament held by the Mexico, Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The tournament was not held in 1997, 2000, or 2002, but was held twice in 1996 and 1998. Juan José Barrón Medina (born September 22, 1952) is a retired Mexican ''Luchador'', or professional wrestler, under the ring name Gran Cochisse. Barrón is currently working as one of the head trainers at the ''Gimnasio del Diablo Velazco'' wrestling school in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The school is one of the wrestling schools for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
