Mestizo Venezuelans
Moreno Venezuelans () or Mixed Venezuelans () are Venezuelans who tend to be Multiracial people, multiracial, typically those who are genetically intermediate between Africans, Amerindians and/or Europeans. Historically known as mulatto, mulattos, mestizo, mestizos, Pardo, pardos, and Zambo, zambos. Some Moreno Venezuelans may also be Asian Latin Americans, mixed with Asian ancestry (Arab Venezuelans, Arabs, Chinese Venezuelans, Chinese, or Indians in Venezuela, Indian), although this is not as common. Since the concept of "race" in Venezuela is rather fluid, there is no defined boundary to what is and is not ''Moreno''. Mestizo
( , ; fem. , literally 'mixed person') is a term primarily used to denote people of mixed European and Indigenous ancestry in the former Spanish Empire. In certain regions such as Latin America, it may also refer to people who are culturally European even though their ancestors were Indigenous American or Austronesian. The term was used as an ethno-racial exonym for mixed-race that evolved during the Spanish Empire. It was a formal label for individuals in official documents, such as censuses, parish registers, Inquisition trials, and others. Indians In Venezuela
Indians in Venezuela form one of the smaller populations of the Indian diaspora. According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (IMEA), among the approximately 690 East Indians living in Venezuela, 400 were Venezuelans of East Indian origin, 280 were Indian citizens and 10 were stateless residents. However, unofficial records put the Indo-Caribbean community from Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago over 50,000.
