Messiah Bright
Messiah Da'kahlian Bright (born January 12, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Bright played college soccer for the TCU Horned Frogs, for which she is the all-time top scorer. She was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 2018 and first-team All-American in 2021. She was drafted by the Orlando Pride in the second round of the 2023 NWSL Draft. Early life and college career Born in Dallas, Texas, Bright attended Cedar Hill High School. She scored 48 goals and 15 assists in her freshman and second years and was named District 8-6A Offensive MVP in 2016 before opting not to play high school soccer in her last two years. Portland Thorns FC is an American professional Association football, soccer team based in Portland, Oregon, that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Established in 2012, the team began play in 2013 in the then-eight-team NWSL, which received support from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). In its 2013 Portland Thorns FC season, inaugural season, Portland Thorns FC placed third during the regular season and, in the playoffs, won the first NWSL championship. The West Virginia Mountaineers are the intercollegiate women's soccer team representing West Virginia University. Texas Longhorns Women's Soccer
The Texas Longhorns women's soccer team represents the University of Texas at Austin in NCAA Division I intercollegiate soccer competition. The Longhorns competed in the Big 12 Conference through the 2024 season and moved to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) on July 1, 2024. History The program played club soccer intercollegiately in the 1980s, including a 1-0 loss to UNC in the 1983 WAGS tournament. Camryn Lancaster (born April 22, 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for USL Super League club Dallas Trinity. She played college soccer for the TCU Horned Frogs. The 2021 Big 12 Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big 12 Conference held from October 31 to November 7, 2021. The 7-match tournament was held at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas.
