Message (band)
Message was a hard rock band that was formed in New Jersey around 1980. The original members of the band were Dean Fasano (lead vocals, guitar), Richie Sambora (guitar), Simon Gannett (organ), Bruce Foster (keyboard), Alec John Such (bass), and Andy Rubbo (drums). The band disbanded shortly after giving out one record, but the lead singer, Dean Fasano gave out three more records later under the band name with a different setting. 1980s The band was formed in 1980 by Dean Fasano. He sang lead vocals, while Richie Sambora played guitar, Alec John Such played bass, Andy Rubbo played drums, Simon Gannett played organ and Bruce Foster played both electric and acoustic piano. Shortly after the band was formed, they put out a self-titled album from their very own company. Due to the lack of money, the band did only 1800 pressings of the album, and they had to sell it from the trunk of their cars. Prophet (band)
Prophet was an American melodic rock band from New Jersey. The last lineup of the group featured Russell Arcara (vocals), Dave DiPietro (guitar), Ken Dubman (guitar), Scott Metaxas (bass), Joe Zujkowski (keyboards) and Jim Callahan (drums). However, the band had many lineups along its career. History Prophet was founded in the 1980s by two previous members of Icarian and Tom Fuller's Rock City, bassist Scott Metaxas and keyboardist Joe Zujkowski. To complete the group, they invited Ken Dubman (guitar), William Runco (guitar), Bob Butterfield (drums) and Marc Hoffman (vocals). The band started its career playing cover songs by bands such as Queen, Boston, Kansas and Styx. In fact, they were considered to be one of the best cover bands in New Jersey in the 80's. Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. It consists of singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald. Original bassist Alec John such quit the band in 1994. Richie Sambora
Richard Stephen Sambora (born July 11, 1959) is an American rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi from 1983 to 2013. He and lead singer Jon Bon Jovi formed the main songwriting unit for the band. He has also released three solo albums: '' Stranger in This Town'' in 1991, '' Undiscovered Soul'' in 1998, and '' Aftermath of the Lowdown'' released in September 2012. In 2018, Sambora was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Bon Jovi, and reunited with his former bandmates for a performance at the induction ceremony. Dean Fasano
Dean Fasano (January 16, 1955 – December 8, 2009) was the lead singer of the bands Message and Prophet. Early years Fasano grew up in New Jersey, United States, and in his youth he got interested in music and singing. His special and emotional voice was long known as one of the most distinctive voices on the New Jersey music scene. Alec John Such
Alec John Such (November 14, 1951 – June 5, 2022) was an American musician. He was best known as a founding member of the rock band Bon Jovi. As their bass player from 1983 to 1994, he played on their first five albums. Such started his musical career in the New Jersey band Phantom’s Opera, who performed both covers and original songs. In the early 1980s he also played in the hard rock band Message, which included guitarist Richie Sambora. During this time Such also managed the Hunka Bunka Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, where he booked Jon Bon Jovi & the Wild Ones. He was asked to join Jon Bon Jovi’s band in 1983.
