Mesmero (Vincent) is a mutant supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Arnold Drake, Don Heck, and Werner Roth, the character first appeared in ''The X-Men'' #49 (October 1968). In American comic books published by Marvel Comics, a mutant is a human being that possesses a genetics, genetic trait called the X-gene. It causes the mutant to develop Superpower (ability), superhuman powers that manifest at puberty.
